Installation took about two minutes. First unscrew the old shower head, then screw on the collar unit and tighten with a wrench. Use a cloth between the collar and wrench to avoid marring the finish. Next screw on the huge rainshower head to the collar and tighten by hand. Add the two included washers to each end of the hose and attach one side to the collar and the other to the hand held unit. That's it.No leaks, no problems. No teflon tape was required, and other than an adjustable wrench to tighten the first item, no additional tools or material is required. The entire unit is quite handsome and the brushed nickel finish has a spot resistent finish to avoid water spots. Nothing cheap about this shower head. You can use both heads at the same time or one at a time. Surprisingly easy to install, took me 5 minutes! Very easy to use and adjusts well! The shower it provides is fabulous.The performance of this shower head combo is nothing short of fantastic. It should cost twice as much, and if it did I would still consider it a bargain. I replaced an aging shower massage and was worried about the water pressure since it was pretty bad with the old unit. I am very pleasantly surprised that the water pressure with the new shower head is awesome! The installation was a snap. The parts seem well put together and the diverter works well without leaks or movement. If you are looking for a quality shower head at a reasonable price - look no further.
