All parts and finishes of this faucet will be free from defects in material and manufacturing workmanship. I was drawn to that too. But i really wanted to get the best shower head. Last year i went to New York city and stayed at the Jane Hotel. Highly recommend by the way. Their bathrooms are unisex with closed shower stalls. Anyway, they had AN INCREDIBLE rain shower. The thing was so big it dumps a waterfall on you. I loved it so much i called the hotel later and asked where they purchase them. They said restoration hardware. The ones at restoration hardware range from $400-$600 and put out 5-6 GPM (gallons per minute). This is extremely important to know about when purchasing a raincan shower head. Federal regulations stipulate shower heads must be no more that 2.5 GPM.Here come the part about MOEN. Model 6320 Velocity moen shower head is 2.5 gpm. It drenches me in the shower. Now for those who mistakenly did not think there was a water volume restrictor they could NOT take out there is. If you look inside the nozzle attachment you will see a small black rubber washer that sits on the green filter. Take a paper clip, a small screw driver, tweezers, whatever you want and just gently get that little band out of there. Voila! Water flows like the niagra! Now beware, this will use more water and as a result there is not a great difference then in the two settings. BUt I love it. It is a firm, strong shower. No needling effect. Just good strong pressure and volume.
